Ruling on Taking Something Sworn Not to Take Through Intermediary
A woman swore not to take a specific thing, and then a second woman gave it to her. Has she thereby broken her oath?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Taking it for him contradicts the oath even if it is from a second woman, and she has to atone for the oath, and God knows best.
