Ruling on Sitting During Voluntary Prayer
Is it permissible to pray the Sunnah while sitting if one has joint pain?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The voluntary prayer is valid whether standing or sitting for everyone, and the reward for the one sitting is half the reward of the one standing, and God knows best.
