Ruling on Seeing Blood After Forty Days
After completing her forty days of postpartum bleeding, she saw blood for a week. What is the ruling on her prayers beyond the forty days?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: What exceeds the blood after forty days is considered as irregular bleeding (istihada), so she should pray and fast. And God knows best.
