Ruling on Sacrificing for the Deceased
Is it permissible to sacrifice for the deceased or is it considered a charity?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to offer a sacrifice on behalf of the deceased from the outset, and it is permissible to slaughter and dedicate the reward to the deceased, and God knows best.
