Ruling on Sacrifice for a Menstruating Woman
Is the sacrifice permissible for a woman if she is menstruating? And is it permissible for her to cut her nails after the sacrifice or after the Eid prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: There is no connection between the sacrifice and menstruation; it is obligatory for anyone who possesses the minimum amount for zakat, whether male or female. It is permissible to cut nails before and during the sacrifice, but it is preferable to do so after the sacrifice. And God knows best.
