Ruling on Returning to a Divorced Woman Before Consummation
My daughter was engaged, and her marriage contract was completed, but she separated from her fiancé before consummation. Is he allowed to return to her after the separation? Or is it permanently forbidden for him?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If he has not divorced her three times, it is permissible to return to her with a new contract and a new dowry, and God knows best.
