Question
A man wanted to borrow in Syrian currency, and the creditor gave him in Saudi riyals. What is the ruling if the debtor repays in Syrian currency? And if he repays in Saudi riyals, does it count as usury, considering that the price of the riyal has increased?

I say, and with God's assistance: Payment in Syrian or Saudi currency is permissible, and it is not usury, and God knows best.
