Ruling on Reading the Quran After Al-Fatiha in the Last Two Rak'ahs
In the four-unit prayer, after completing the first two rak'ahs and the Tashahhud, is it permissible to read a Surah after Al-Fatiha, or is it considered contrary to the Sunnah?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is required to read a surah after Al-Fatiha in the last two rak'ahs of the four-unit prayer, and prostration for forgetfulness is required if the surah is omitted by mistake, and God knows best.
