Ruling on Preventing a Divorced Woman's Ex-Husband from Seeing His Children
A divorced woman has two children and has filed a maintenance case against her ex-husband. Whenever she obtains a ruling for maintenance, he appeals the ruling, and she prevents him from seeing their children. Is the wife sinful for doing this?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is better not to prevent him from seeing, as this may soften his heart and fulfill his duty, and God knows best.
