Ruling on Praying the Eid Prayer Alone
I was in the hospital and left on the day of Eid, and I did not pray the Eid prayer. Is it permissible for me to pray today?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The Eid prayer is not valid except in its prescribed form from the congregation and others; it should not be prayed individually. And God knows best.
