Ruling on Prayer While Holding a Child with Impurity
Does my prayer become invalid if a child holding impurity grabs my clothes while I am praying? And if the child grabs my clothes after his mother has cleaned him with wet wipes, does the prayer become invalid?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Prayer is not invalidated by holding a child who has impurity on him, but if he sits in your lap and has impurity, then it invalidates the prayer. The child can be purified by cleaning him with wet wipes, and God knows best.
