Ruling on Placing Something on the Grave
What are the rulings regarding graves in terms of what is permissible to place on the grave and what is not, such as placing a water container for birds to drink from as a charity for the deceased?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: There is no need to dedicate the grave with such things, and they can be placed anywhere else. We should increase our charity for the deceased and dedicate the reward to them, and God knows best.
