Ruling on Performing the Prostration of Forgetfulness After the Salutation
The imam forgot the first tashahhud and stood for the third rak'ah. The worshippers reminded him after he had stood completely. After the salutation, he prostrated for forgetfulness. Does the prostration of forgetfulness after the salutation also require a tashahhud and a salutation, even though it is after the final sitting?
