Ruling on Performing Fajr Prayer After Forgetting the Witr
I caught the Fajr prayer with the imam (during the last tashahhud), and when the imam finished the prayer, I remembered that I had not prayed the Witr, so I prayed it. Is this correct in terms of changing the intention?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: When remembering during the prayer, the Fajr prayer is invalidated due to not having prayed the Witr. You can start with the Witr directly even if you do not conclude, or you can conclude and then start with the Witr and then pray Fajr. And God knows best.
