Ruling on Paying Zakat to a Brother
Is it permissible to give Zakat when a year has passed, and pay it to a sister so that she gives a part of it to the brother every month; to ensure that he does not spend the amount in a short time?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Such a situation is permissible, and it is good; because it involves maintaining the care for the brother, and they will be rewarded for this, and God knows best.
