Ruling on Paying the Expiation for an Oath
A girl receives her allowance from her father and has been able to save some of it. She now wants to atone for her oath; should she feed from the saved money or fast?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: If she has twenty dinars, it is not permissible for her to atone by fasting, but rather she should atone with money, and God knows best.
