Ruling on Paying the Debt of the Deceased from His Estate
A widow whose husband bought her a car before his death and registered it in her name, and there is still some of the price unpaid due to his travel, is it permissible for her to pay the remaining price from his estate?
Answer
I say, and may Allah grant success: The debt should be paid from the estate; because it is a debt on the deceased husband, and Allah knows best.
