Ruling on Paying Gold Zakat at Its Old Price Due to Lower Value
Regarding gold zakat, is it permissible to pay the gold zakat based on the price per gram from last year, knowing that the price has increased significantly this year?

I say, and with God's guidance: It should be valued at its current value; because it is an obligation in the debt, and God knows best.
