Question
What should a person say if a verse of prostration passes by and they do not want to prostrate? Is there a mention like what we hear from some brothers: Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: You must prostrate for recitation, but it is an obligation that can be delayed, so you can prostrate at any time you want. You can prostrate for all the prostrations of the Quran when completing it once, which is fourteen prostrations. It is not sufficient to say something that takes the place of the prostration, and God knows best.
