Ruling on Non-Continuity in Fasting for a Vow of Continuity
I vowed to fast for a consecutive month, is it permissible for me to fast for a week, break my fast, and then continue fasting?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Continuity in fasting is required if one makes a vow, and God knows best.
