Ruling on Mistakes in the Prayer
Should I prostrate for forgetfulness if I said in the bowing 'Glory is to my Lord, the Most High' instead of 'Glory is to my Lord, the Most Great'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: These glorifications are among the Sunnahs of prayer, so neglecting them or changing them is contrary to the Sunnah. It is not obligatory to perform the prostration of forgetfulness for leaving a Sunnah; rather, it is disliked. And God knows best.
