Ruling on Leaving the Waiting Period House Due to Inability
An elderly and ill woman whose husband has passed away has no one to take care of her. Is it permissible for her to observe her waiting period with a relative who takes care of her?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible for her to move during the waiting period to a place where she feels safe for herself, and where there is no temptation for her, and God knows best.
