Ruling on Intermittent Blood for a New Menstruator

Question
I read according to the opinion of the esteemed Hanafi scholars that if a new menstruator sees blood for one day, then has fourteen days of purity, and then sees blood for one day, the first ten days are considered menstruation, and the remaining is considered irregular bleeding. How is this so, given that the minimum menstruation is three days and nights?
Answer

I say, and with God's success: For a new menstruator, the maximum menstruation is considered to be ten days. If the blood exceeds ten days, and God knows best.
