Ruling on Forgetting to Combine Two Prayers for a Traveler with the Intention
A traveler prayed Friday, intending to combine the afternoon prayer immediately after Friday with two rak'ahs, but he forgot to pray the afternoon prayer in combination and shortened form. He remembered after leaving the mosque and arriving at his place of residence. Should he pray the two rak'ahs of the afternoon prayer at his residence, or should he wait for the time of the afternoon prayer to enter, and thus pray two or four rak'ahs?
