Ruling on Following the Imam in His Mistake
If the Imam makes a mistake in the four-unit prayer and sits at the third unit, not standing for the fourth, and the worshippers alert him to this but he does not respond, what should the follower do?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: He must follow the imam; because he cannot perform the pillars alone, so it is not valid for him to separate from the imam, and God knows best.
