Ruling on Following Someone Who Makes Mistakes in Recitation
In the absence of the regular imam in our mosque, one of the worshippers prays with us, but he pronounces the letter 'ص' as 'س'. Is the prayer behind him valid?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The prayer behind him is valid, but it is preferable for someone else who is better at reading to lead, and God knows best.
