Ruling on Following Another School of Thought in Times of Hardship

Question
A woman follows the Hanafi school of thought, and she wanted to perform ablution outside the home. Due to the difficulty, is it permissible for her to wipe over her head according to the Shafi'i school?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: There is no difficulty in wiping over the head according to the Hanafi school. If she puts her hand behind her ear and wipes a quarter of her head, it is permissible, and there is no harm in that. And God knows best.
