Ruling on Fajr Prayer with Tayammum if One Fears Missing the Time
I woke up a little before sunrise and was in a state of major impurity. If I take a bath, the sun will rise and the time for Fajr prayer will end. Should I take a bath and pray later, or should I perform tayammum and pray, then take a bath afterwards?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is not permissible to pray the Fajr prayer with tayammum even if one fears missing its time; he should perform ghusl and pray the missed prayer, and God knows best.
