Question

We guaranteed pomegranate trees worth 2,500,000 SYP, and additional expenses were incurred for diesel and medicine amounting to 700,000 SYP. Should Zakat be paid on the wealth before accounting for the side expenses or after? And what would be the value of the Zakat?

I say, and with God's success: Zakat is obligatory on the income absolutely before paying expenses, and God knows best.
