Ruling on Dealing with Non-Mahram During the Waiting Period of Mourning for Necessity
A woman whose husband has passed away was working in the food video production industry, which requires her to coordinate with the man responsible for that. Is it permissible for her to continue working during the waiting period?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: A woman is not prevented from working in her home during her waiting period, and coordinating for that is permissible as long as there is no seclusion or temptation. If she has no support during her waiting period and needs financial assistance, it is permissible for her to go out for work, and God knows best.
