Ruling on Converting the Price of the Sacrifice
The Sheikh, may Allah preserve him, said that it is permissible to convert the price of the sacrifice to another country. Does this mean that it is permissible to send them the price instead of the sacrifice as charity because it is more beneficial for them?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to transfer the price to be sacrificed in another country, and it is not permissible to give charity instead; because the act of devotion is the sacrifice and nothing else, and God knows best.
