Ruling on Continuous Intermittent Blood

Question
A woman has a menstrual period of seven days, and then she becomes irregular, experiencing light intermittent bleeding for more than fourteen days. What is the ruling?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: The menstrual period is according to the number in the old custom before exceeding ten, and anything beyond that custom in number is considered irregular bleeding, and God knows best.
