Ruling on Combining Prayers for One Who Ignored the Obligation of Shortening
I traveled from Karak to Amman and stayed in Amman for a week, and during this period, I was combining and shortening my prayers. After that, they told me that combining is not permissible, only shortening is allowed. What is the ruling on the prayers I performed during the entire period of travel?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You must adhere to the shortening in what remains, and there is nothing upon you for what has passed due to the difference in it, and God knows best.
