Ruling on Combining Money and Gold Together for Paying Zakat
If the money has not reached the nisab threshold, and there is gold that has reached the nisab, can they be combined together to pay the zakat on the money?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: both money and gold are included in zakat, and if they reach the nisab threshold, zakat should be given on both of them. And God knows best.
