Ruling on Combining Between the Schools of Thought
Is it permissible to generally follow the Shafi'i school, while relying on the Hanafi school only for rulings on purification?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You must adhere to a specific school of thought in all your rulings, and there is no need for such a combination except for desire, and God knows best.
