Ruling on Catching the Raka'ah with the Imam
If the follower bows and praises Allah at the same time the Imam begins to rise from the bowing and says: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him,' has he caught the raka'ah with him?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The important thing is for the imam to catch part of the bowing, for if he does not catch it, he will not have caught the unit of prayer, and God knows best.
