Ruling on Breaking Wudu in Congregational Prayer
What should a man do if he breaks his wudu during congregational prayer? And what should he do if he hesitates to leave and completes his prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: He should be more shy before God than he is shy before people, so he should go to perform ablution; because it is feared that he may fall into disbelief by praying without purification, and at the very least, it is a sin, and God knows best.
