Ruling on Blood That Lasts Less Than Three Days

Question
After getting the IUD, my menstrual cycle changed; I have bleeding three or four days before the period, then it stops, and the period lasts for seven days. If we consider the initial bleeding as just a sign and it doesn't continue, the period would be from ten to twelve days. When I asked the doctor, she told me not to consider it as part of the period because it is due to the IUD. What is the ruling on this blood?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the doctor told you that it is not menstrual blood, then do not consider it as menstruation, and God knows best.
