Ruling on Blood Lasting More Than Ten Days

Question
A woman has had her period like this for 15 years, and her period before that was irregular? That is, for 15 years, her cycle comes for 14 days, being light at the beginning and end, and intensifying in the five middle days? She asks when to consider it as irregular bleeding, and when to consider it as menstruation? She also asks if she has to make up for missed prayers and fasting? She says that she used to consider the 14 days as menstruation based on the fatwa of the Shafi'is, and they say that menstruation lasts 15 days. Now she is confused about how to calculate menstruation, should she make up for what she missed or stick to the fatwa of the Shafi'is in this matter?
Answer

I say, and with Allah's success: If the fatwa of the Shafi'i scholars is suitable for you, then you should adhere to it, and Allah knows best.
