Ruling on Blood Flowing for More Than Ten Days

Question
A woman had a miscarriage two months ago, and the bleeding continued for about fifty-eight days, and she did not pray. Does she have to make up the prayers?
Answer

I say, and with Allah's success: If the miscarriage was less than four months, then the blood that flows afterward is considered menstruation, and it is not considered more than ten days. She should regard it as menstruation according to her old habit. If the miscarriage was for more than four months, then the blood that flows afterward is considered postpartum bleeding, and it is considered postpartum bleeding for up to four months if it continues. And Allah knows best.
