Question
A woman is experiencing blood flow between her menstrual periods, which is predominantly red or black in color and has an odor. She has undergone medical tests, but the results have not yet appeared. She has been treating this blood as if she were in a state of irregular bleeding. Is her action correct according to Islamic law?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: A new menstruation does not begin until after (15) days, so what you see during the period of purity in between is irregular bleeding and not menstruation, and God knows best.
