Ruling on Blood Discharge Due to IUD Insertion
She says that she had an IUD inserted, and then she experienced some blood discharge. The doctor informed her that this blood is coming from the uterus, so she should not pray. She also says that she became pure two weeks ago. What is the ruling on her prayer?
Answer
I say, and with Allah's success: If a trusted doctor informed her that this is pathological blood and not menstrual blood, her statement is considered, and it is not regarded as menstruation. And Allah knows best.
