Ruling on Ablution with a Barrier Present
Does only the part of the nail that is far from the covered skin with nail polish prevent water from reaching and completing the ablution, or does it apply to the entire nail?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Covering any part of the nail with a polish that prevents water from reaching it invalidates the validity of ablution, and God knows best.
