Ruling for One Who Wants to Sacrifice Twice
A person wishes to sacrifice two sheep, the first he wants to slaughter on the first day of Eid, and the second he wants to slaughter on the third day of Tashreeq in accordance with the noble Sunnah. Should he cut his hair and nails at the first slaughter, or should he refrain from doing so until the second slaughter?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: Cutting nails and hair is permissible, although it is contrary to what is preferable, and there is no harm in doing it initially even if one does not offer a sacrifice. If one does offer a sacrifice, it is even more appropriate. I would like to point out that the sacrifice is only valid during three days. And God knows best.
