Rules of Charity
The sister inquiring says: I received an amount of money as charity for my poor son’s household, and I did not inform them about it out of concern for their feelings and to avoid embarrassing them. Now there are problems in my son's household, and his wife is at her family's place, and she says she needs this money. Is it permissible for her to use it?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: This money is specifically for the son's house, so it is not permissible to dispose of it, and it must be spent on them, and God knows best.
