Returning Trusts to Their Owners
A lady who is seventy-three years old left the profession of sewing and tailoring three years ago, but she still has pieces of fabric and garments that have been incomplete for more than twenty years, and she is unable to access them. Is it permissible for her to give these trusts as charity?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is preferable to return the trusts to their owners, and if you cannot, it is possible to give them in charity on behalf of their owners, and God knows best.
