Requesting Help Without Mentioning the Name

Question
A person is in difficult circumstances and has debts, and he has friends to whom he wants to send a message for help but does not want to mention his name to avoid embarrassment. He will write in the message: 'There is a person in need who requires financial assistance to settle his debts, and the amount is this and that. Whoever wants to help can let me know.' After that, he will take the assistance to pay off his debts. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: Such behavior raises concerns about deception, and also about giving you money so that you can give it to the needy rather than taking it for yourself. It is better to avoid such methods, and God knows best.
