Replacing the Sacrifice Skin with Another Tanned Skin
On Eid al-Adha, I take the skin of the sacrifice for tanning and pay the tanner a fee. To save time, the tanner gives me another tanned and ready skin. Is this permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is permissible; because he has replaced the skin of the sacrifice with something that is permissible to benefit from while retaining its essence, and God knows best.
