Replacing Cell Phone Accessories with Non-Original Ones by the Merchant
Is it permissible for a cell phone store to replace the original charger that comes with the phone with a charger of different quality without informing the customer?
Answer
I say, with Allah's guidance: This is a type of deception and manipulation, and the customer must be informed that with the original charger it costs such and such, and without it, it costs such and such. And Allah knows best.
