Reperforming the Prayer Due to Doubt About an Error
Is it necessary to reperform the obligatory prayer simply because of doubt about a mistake in the prayer without specifying the type of mistake, but as a precaution?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: The prayer is repeated for neglecting an obligation and nothing else. If you are certain that you have neglected an obligation, then you repeat it; otherwise, you do not. And God knows best.
